RECOMMENDEND PRODUCTS

It is essential that you have the necessary tools ready for when your puppy arrives home with you.  This gives you and your puppy the best chance of success from the very beginning.

We recommend you bring a collar and lead with you when picking up your puppy. 

Your puppy will require a size Medium 26cm - 40cm collar 

This is essential for all the puppy training you are going to be engaging in with your new puppy.  

We strongly recommend crate training your puppy.  Puppies who are crate trained are easier to toilet train and can be  left alone in the house safely. 

Crate size we recommend is  Large: 76.2 x 71.1 x 106.6 cm 

I recommend purchasing stainless steel bowls. Stainless steal is easy to clean, hygienic and less likely to be chewed.

Labradors require regular grooming as they have a thick double coat.  We use the FURminator Deshedding Brush Comb Tool Metallic For Short Hair Large Dogs   

Nails will need to be trimmed regularly. This is an essential part of your puppy/dogs grooming routine. If  nails are left to grow too long than this can cause problems and affect the way in which your dog walks.

Shampoo and Conditioner is an essential part of your grooming routine.  Please use a good quality shampoo and conditioner on your puppy to avoid any irritation.  We use  PAW BLACKMORES Puppy Gentle Shampoo

You can never have too many toys.  Your puppy will need a range of toys which are essential for their development.  We recommend toys by Kong as they seem to last the longest.

We recommend a crate mat and an outdoor chew proof bed. Labrador puppies love to chew and will destroy a soft fluff filled mat within minutes. Chew proof beds  can be purchased on line from various  local suppliers.
