Next Planned Litter TRACKLEA MOON SHADOW (POPPY) x SIRE TO BE CONFIRMED EARLY 2026

TRACKLEA PUPPIES

How to buy a puppy from us:

We are currently asking for each enquiring family to fill out the following questionnaire, this is to help us understand why you are interested in owning a TRACKLEA puppy and what type of home you will be providing. This not only helps us find out a little more about what you're looking for in a puppy but also ensures that we are sending our puppies on to loving homes. Once I have received your application and we have a confirmed litter on the way, I will give you a call and talk through the adoption process from there. We do not have many litters and unfortunately, I won't always have enough puppies for every application however, If we are not able to provide a puppy currently, we are also more than happy to add you to our waiting list to be considered for future litters.

What is considered an approved puppy home?

This is a home that we believe would make an appropriate home for our puppy. This means a home that we feel satisfied that they will provide the expected quality of care for the puppy and will ensure the puppy is provided with a safe, secure, and suitable home environment, where the puppy will be content and loved.

If you believe you are able to provide one of our puppies the very best of homes, please click on the link below to submit your application as we would love to hear from you.

*Please understand that enquiring about or applying for a Tracklea puppy does not automatically guarantee you a puppy at this time, or from any future litter. This application is a  tool I use to determine your suitability and preparedness for one of our Labrador puppies. When I do have a litter/puppy planned I will contact people from this list to further discuss  your suitability.

How much are our Puppies?

The pedigrees of each of our Labradors have been extensively researched prior to breeding and we are fortunate enough to have some very sound bloodlines behind our dogs. When breeding with quality bloodlines our aim is to produce puppies that have the true Labrador temperament, are of sound structure and good health.

The cost of producing such a litter is quite costly and there are many expenses from initial health testing of parents, caring for the mother and ensuring all puppies are provided with the care and attention they need during their first 8 weeks with us. For us we do not spare any expense when it comes to our dogs and all money goes back into our future breeding program.

We do aim to keep our price in line with other Dogs Australia (ANKC) Registered Labrador breeders and have accordingly priced our puppies at $3,500 with Dogs Australia Registered Pedigrees.

Deposit for a Puppy:

Once you have been added to our approved home list and we have a puppy available for you to purchase, a $1000.00 deposit is required. The deposit holds your puppy until collection at 8 weeks old.

Once the balance of the puppy price is finalised, only then will the puppy be transferred to the new owner’s name and a receipt provided for its purchase.

20.1.25 A member shall ensure that all dogs sold or disposed of by that member are in the best  possible state of health. Where any known  physical abnormalities exist, a breeder health  declaration shall be supplied which includes  details of the known physical abnormality at  the time of sale and how that abnormality may  affect future health and welfare of the dog.  This shall be signed in acknowledgement by  the recipient. With the exception of matters  disclosed in the health declaration, a member  shall abide by the following as a minimum  practice when selling dogs

20.1.25.1 Where a dog is returned to the member  within 3 days of sale, for any reason not  supported by a statement from a veterinary  practitioner, the member must take back the  animal and refund 75% of the purchase price.

20.1.25.2 Where a dog is returned to the member  within 21 days of sale accompanied by a  statement from a veterinary practitioner that  the animal is unacceptable for health reasons,  the member must take back the animal and  refund 100% of the purchase price.

20.1.25.3 If an animal is diagnosed with, suffering  from, dies of, or is euthanased from a  physical defect or disease that is directly  traceable to the point of sale within 3 years of purchase, the member must, subject to a  second veterinary opinion, refund 100% of  the purchase price where the owner of the  animal provides supporting statements from  a veterinary practitioner, including test results where a suitable test is available. Owners of  the animal must make veterinary reports and  test results available to the breeder for the  breeder to obtain their own veterinary advice  (second opinion), and for the purpose of  informing future breeding management.

Dogs Australia (formally ANKC) Pedigree Certificate

What is a Pedigree Certificate? A pedigree is essentially a birth certificate for your dog showing the 3 generation family tree and also proved that your dog is in fact a purebred. The Australian National Kennel Council LTD (ANKC) is the only internationally recognized registry able to issue certified pedigrees for purebred dogs.

All ANKC breeders must abide by the Code of Ethics outline on the ANKC website.  The ANKC issues 2 types of registration, Main Register and Limited Register. Each puppy bought from an ANKC breeder will come with its own pedigree. ANKC Certified  pedigrees are also recognized pedigrees with that government and local councils.

All other registries such as the MDBA, ABR, Australian Canine registry, ICBS etc are NOT affiliated with the ANKC and CANNOT issue Certified Pedigrees.  If you have doubts a breeder is registered, contact your ANKC State Office to confirm.
